| Shooting Stars Instructional League |
- Players will meet for eight, two-hour sessions
- Each weekly session will be devided into two parts. The first hour will be used to teach all the individual, fundamental basketball skills while the second hour will be our league game
- The skills offered will become progressively more challenging as participants develop and gain confidence
- Players will ultimately master fundamental skills to which players three or four years older have never been exposed
- As a player, coach and licensed official, Chris Marciniak will provide expert skill instruction, a better understanding of the rules, and important explanations regarding basketball terminology
- Players will be matched and play against others with similar playing ability
- A positive, self-confidence building approach will be used in teaching each player
- Each player will receive an individual tip sheet
- All players will average two quarters of playing time per game regardless of skill level
- All players receive a league shirt
- Foul shooting and shooting contests will be conducted throughout the duration of the league
- A special awards presentation will follow the eighth session
- Fee is 95.00 per participant
